Same problem with me. When I click on a download, shortly thereafter Edge disappears and there is no indication of what happened to the download or where it is going. Consequently I'm using Chrome to download files now.

Can't download anything on Microsoft Edge! I tried downloading through Google Chrome (I set Google as my homepage, then downloaded it from the install button on the page). Downloads worked fine after that, and navigating the web was MUCH faster than Edge. I will try to move my temp file for Edge later to see if that works too.
